Tourist visa for Egypt from India
A tourist visa is issued by the Egypt embassy or the consulate. It is valid for 90 days, although a tourist can stay in the northern African country only for a period of 30 days. The most important thing for getting an approval for an Egyptian visa is that the applicants need not to give an interview for it. An interview is necessary for those who do not have any history of travelling abroad previously. The applicant has to submit the application for the tourist visa to the embassy or the consulate between 9: 30 am to 11:00 am. The application of the applicant can be submitted by any person with a valid authorization letter.
Business visa for Egypt from India
A business visa is mandatory for applicants who are visiting Egypt for business purposes. The procedure for business visa is same as the tourist visa. The application for the visa needs to be submitted at the Egyptian embassy in Delhi or the consulate in Mumbai.

Documents required for Egyptian visa
The necessary documents required to get an approval for a tourist visa to Egypt from India are:
- Two passport size photographs of the applicant
- The visa application form
- The applicant’s income tax return for the past 3 years
- Submission of Covering letter or a request letter to the consular
- Air tickets
- The bank statement of an applicant from the previous 6 months. The bank statement attested by a gazette officer from the bank and the account should have a minimum of Rs. 50,000.
- Xerox of the first and last pages of the applicant’s original passport.
The necessary documents required to get an approval for a business visa to Egypt from India are:
- A valid passport that does not expire for at least 6 months from the date the visa holder intends to leave Egypt.
- Two copies of the visa application form of business visa.
- Two passport size photographs off the applicant with white and black background. Note that the photo should not be older than 3 months.
- Air tickets.
- Cover letter from the organization the visa holder will be representing in Egypt
- An Invitation letter from the business partners in Egypt. The letter must be faxed directly to the embassy or the consulate.
- A document that will be acting as a proof for the applicant’s funds. It could either be the international credit card or foreign exchange endorsements.
- A document that will be acting as a proof of stay for the applicant in Egypt such as hotel booking dates.
- The income tax return for the last 3 years.

Egypt visa fees from India
The fees structure is as follow:
- The normal visa fee for single entry into Egypt for a tourist visa costs Rs. 1900 and for multiple entries, it costs Rs. 2800.
- The normal visa fee for single entry into Egypt for a business visa costs Rs. 2900 and for multiple entries, it cost Rs. 4000.
